The Story

Rubus Souris

The Souris Rasberry is an improved Boyne Raspberry with improved production and a sweeter flavour. A hard‑working summer‑bearing red raspberry, the Souris offers garden‑friendly performance with sweet, juicy berries and excellent cold‑hardiness. Developed at Morden Research Station in Canada, it’s an improved version of the classic ‘Boyne’—noted for better flavour, higher yields and enhanced resistance to spider mites.
With an upright cane habit (approx. 3‑4 ft tall and wide), it thrives in full sun and cooler climates, making it well suited for Canadian gardens—including Vancouver Island conditions when given good drainage and support.

  • 1 Pot
  • Sweet, juicy red berries on strong, cold‑hardy plants
  • Upright growth, good production in cool climates
