Low mounds of delicate foliage give rise to colorful, intricately shaped flowers in spring and early summer. Flowers are usually bicolored and include white, yellow, pink, blue, red and lavender. Use in mass plantings and mixed with other late spring flowers. Does best in cool weather; with afternoon shade. Pick off dead blooms.
