Few flowering annuals can match the ease in which this popular genus of Plant grows. The ruffled, tufted double flowers come in the traditional deep blue, as well as pink, red, maroon, lavender and white. They make excellent cut flowers, and also can be massed in beds or borders. Scatter seeds in a sunny, well drained location in early spring. Self-seeding is common, but volunteers will be smaller.
