The Story

Pisum sativum

  • Open Pollinated.
  • Crisp and sweet.
  • 5 to 10 days to germination.
  • Days to Maturity: 65 days.
  • Companion Planting: Beans, Carrot, corn, cucumber, radish.

Cascadia is a sugar snap pea with crisp, deep green pods. Good yields can be used at the edible pod stage or as a shelling pea. The very sweet peas remain succulent and tender. Staking will not be required for this variety.

15g. (Approx. 50-55 seeds)

When harvesting peas, do not jerk pods from vines since rough handling can cause plants to stop producing. It is best to snip clusters of pods from vines with scissors or pruners.

Cascadia peas are delicious pan fried for a few minutes with olive oil, salt and pepper.
