The Story

Lavatera trimestris

  • Annual
  • Hot Pink Blooms
  • Full Sun
  • July to Frost blooming season
  • 10 to 21 days to germination

This award winning compact Lavatera boasts one of the showiest displays of glowing, satiny flowers to be found. Cup-shaped blooms that resemble single hollyhocks or hibiscus grow quickly from seed into uniformly shaped plants that flowers vigorously throughout the season. This easy to grow annual makes a stunning addition to containers or garden beds and is an outstanding cut flower variety. Performs best in sunny areas where it does not have vigorous growing neighboring plants to compete with.
