Bred at the Nititsky State Botanic Garden, Yalta, Crimea, Ukraine. The slightly nodding 3-4" (8-10cm) violet-blue flowers bloom from June to September non-stop. The non-clinging sturdy stems are most attractive when grown through a small shrub, or tied to their support. Mature height 4-6' (1.5-2m). Pruning group C.
